Leaf at Washington Park Building As I walked through Hallgrímskirkja

As I walked through Hallgrímskirkja in Reykjavik one of the first things I noticed was the light pouring into the space through the windows in front of the sanctuary

Using a thirty second exposure on this image I was able to capture the movement of the clouds as I used a telephoto lens to brings the mountains closer to me

As I usually do when it snows I head out to capture some images around the city and on this day headed to the LoHi area

As the day moves to afternoon at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve the wind picks up

This small island just off the coast was coming and going in the rain and clouds

Leaf at Washington Park Building As I walked through HallgrímskirkjaI found my walking around Washington Park in Denver during Fall. As I neared Smith Lake in the park I noticed a lone leaf in the water. The wind was providing some ripples on the lake and was also slowly moving the leaf. I found my angle to capture the image (while also staying dry) and used the ripples to fill in the rest of the frame for this image.
