The title comes from a bright red colour swatch used called 'Ladybug', and the butterflies are there to keep it company. The red Chinese chop mark is my own name, 'Shelley'. This mixed media collage is a 3 dimensional work, built up from paint chips, vintage hand written letters, copies of textile fragments, scraps of brightly coloured paint palettes and black ink drawings.
