Antique Georgian Vinaigrette Locket, Mini French Charles X Enameled Vinaigrette Pendant c. 1830 antique_cuff 65 mm with a depthThis rare beauty is known as a "vinaigrette" locket. Delicate and refined, it features chiseled floral borders and blue enameling. It opens with a little door to reveal an interior pierced gallery panel behind which a piece of scented cloth could be tucked to revive the wearer in case of fainting or to mask unpleasant doors. This one dates all the way back to the late Georgian period, circa 1830. As they are light weight with several hinges, few have
