Missing exhaust flappers & Pin (Part numbers 0765166 & 913663 which are easy to track down)

but research beyond 1998 can get more confusing so if you are unsure please contact us or reference your part from a parts manual

This would have been found on any MerCruiser GM application (effectively 1969-Up) where the flywheel was mounted directly to the crankshaft and had either a perimeter mounted coupler on sterndrives or a perimeter mounted flex-plate for inboard applications

Do Not mistake this for the square / square swivel shafts that were used in many 1983-1990 Alpha one Gen I / Gen II models
