E6006 was built at Eastleigh in November 1962 and was later renumbered to 73006 under TOPS

with the Emma branch being worked by a stationary engine based at Stargate

During their working lives, they also supplied a number of other locations, including Aberdeen, Dewsbury, Dundee, Grangemouth, Sunderland, and Widnes. The last Cemflo PCV wagons were withdrawn from service in mid 1988.
